Guacamole
El Jefe of dips.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe haas avocados, peeled, pitted
- 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 white onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 serrano chile, seeded/deveined & finely chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Steps
- In a medium mixing bowl, add the avocados & lime juice.
- Add the salt, cumin, and cayenne and lightly mash.
- Fold in the tomato, onion, cilantro, chile, and lime juice and mix to combine.
- Serve immediately or mash
